Join us on the 5th July for some birthday celebrations including cake, tombolas, prizes and more...

To show your support, we kindly ask that any donations of cakes, buns, or prizes for our tombola would be greatly appreciated!
The NHS was founded in 1948, providing healthcare services for everyone free of charge.
Since, there has been many medical advancements made such as the discovery of DNA and it's structure, kidney dialysis, the first pacemaker being implanted, the first heart, liver and kidney transplants, the invention of CT and MRI scans, the development of IVF and much much more.
We have over 1.5 million NHS staff across the UK, and of course all of this wouldn't have been possible without them and their dedication they bring to improving health nationally.
With your support, we can continue in our mission to make a significant, positive difference to the health and care of every person in our local communities. Your donations will go towards funding items such as toys/books for children, blankets for the elderly, medical equipment such as scalp coolers for cancer patients, hip replacement technology, and breast reconstruction imaging equipment, and other projects such as our MY MRI Appeal.
Any photos you share from the day, we ask that you tag us in so we can share the message with our local community 😊
Last year, for the NHS's 76th Birthday, we held a bake sale with some delicious baked treats!
We also held a raffle with prixes such as a 6ft bouncy castle, an inflatable pirate ship paddling pool and lots and lost of toys for children.

We loved seeing our young supporters in the Community, uniting on this day celebrating how fortunate we truly are to have such an incredible organisation. Joining in their Keep Fit class certainly made everyone smile, thank you for asking us to be a part of this colourful tribute event.

A special thank you goes out to the incredible staff of The Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust supporting the Spectrum Vaccination Hub who held a Mad Hatters Tea Party in celebration of the NHS’s 73rd Birthday!

On Wednesday 7th July, we had the pleasure of meeting some of the brilliant Morrison’s community champion’s.
The champions delivered beautiful hampers to A&E, ICU, Gate 44, Maternity, Children's & Adult Burns, to say a huge thank you to staff for their incredible work they do and continue to do at our hospitals. This was so very much appreciated by all members of staff who were greeted with this lovely gesture.
