Entertainment Resources for the Neurophysiology Department

Nurse sat with the mounted TV in Neurophysiology Department at Pinderfields Hospital

28th July 2021

Our teams continue to work so hard to support our Patients and Families through these unprecedented times. Every day they dedicate themselves to caring for our loved ones, and for that we will never be able to thank them enough.

Entertainment resources for our Patients and their families make such a huge difference for the experience of those visiting our Departments, most recently we have funded a TV to be installed in the patient waiting area in the Neurophysiology Department at Pinderfields Hospital. This would not have been possible without the support of incredibly kind donations to our Charity.

Below captures the difference this has made; Neurophysiology Department Feedback:

I am sure that the TV will be a big benefit to the department. We see a wide cross section of patients from all ages. Our patients are often anxious when they come for testing with us.

Having the TV in the waiting area will offer a welcome distraction for them whilst they are waiting. In particular, we see a large proportion of children, and it is important that we provide as welcoming and calm environment as possible for them. I am really grateful that charitable funding was able to provide the monies to purchase and install this TV for us.
