Forget Me Not Seeds for Our Bereavement Team | Your impact

This week we wanted to include some powerful words from our Bereavement Team, who are working so incredibly hard to support both the Families of those in our Care and also very importantly our Staff through really challenging Times.

Recently our Charity supported the Bereavement Team to purchase 15,000 packs of 'Forget Me Not' Seeds, as the name suggests these are given to Families/Friends/Loved ones following a loss to plant in their memory. This personal touch will mean so much too so many, and we wanted to share with you the words from the Bereavement Team and the sentiment behind this gesture;

Our department think that though obviously not for all families, but for others, this tiny gesture is a way of bringing something bright, that comes up year after year, a small way of remembering their deceased family member. It is also a way of letting the family know that their family member isn’t a statistic, that they were an individual that passed through our office, albeit for a short time.
