Refurbished Children’s Urgent Treatment Waiting Area

We are proud to showcase our newly refurbished children’s waiting area in the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Pontefract Hospital.
We hope that our young Patients will find it a more calming and welcoming space following this redesign, as we know that sometimes hospitals can be intimidating especially for our younger patients.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Hydes Hospital Trust for joining together and working with MY Hospitals Charity on this project meaning we were collectively able to fund both the furniture and the artwork combined.
A special mention and thank you also to Stella Corrall from Lucentia Design, who specialise in artistic holistic interventions for interiors.
