Reminiscence Therapy Unit Donation | Your impact

We are so grateful to be in the position to share our A&E Department has had a My Improvement Network Reminiscence Interactive Therapy Activities 'RITA' Unit donated to calm and relax patients living with Dementia whilst being treated in our Emergency Department.

Anita Ruckledge (Lead Dementia Care Nurse), Kirsty Jowett (Fundraising Manager), Sister Amy Johnson and Sister Cara Fleming (pictured left-to-right) were thrilled to receive the unit; Anita added;

 

This will be so valuable in providing comfort and therapy to our patients with cognitive impairments
